Perfect photo opportunities abound on Branched Oak Lake. If you missed the Magellan Cup, the 4th, or missed being out on the water at sunset, here's what you missed.

Those who participated in the Magellan Cup Regatta experienced a beautiful day for racing. Congratulations to all finishers!

First place went to John Meyers, Newport 30;

2nd to Dave and Jo Lynn Brown, Hunter 23.5;

3rd to Cam and Sue Crooks, Hunter 23.5;

4th to Jim Krance, Irwin 23;

5th to Al Steiner, Cat 22;

6th to Gary Elston, Starwind 223;

7th to Barry Franzen, M26;

8th to Ron Vlcek, Oday 23.

 A good time was had by all at the Jimmy Buffet Party following the Regatta. Good food and fun. Thanks to the Browns and Klimms

for providing the burgers. They did not last long!

The evening's entertainment included water balloon launching (Thanks Lori!), horseshoe pitching provided by Randy, and the highlight

of the evening--kayak racing! Why was it that the men had such trouble staying IN the watercraft! ( Greg and Jim) Way to go ladies!
